Ikayaki (いか焼き, イカ焼き or 烏賊焼, Ikayaki? lit. baked squid) is a popular fast food in Osaka, Japan. It is like folded crêpes and made of chopped squid, hard dough, sauce and sometimes egg. An ikayaki shop in Snack Park of Hanshin Department Store (Umeda, Osaka) is the most famous.There are similarly named dishes called Takoyaki (たこ焼き, Takoyaki?) and Yakiika (焼きいか, Yakiika?), but they do not bear any resemblance.
