LAS VEGAS - Two hot dog eating champs faced an upset - not of the stomach variety - when a Chicago culinary arts student trounced them in eating chicken wings.

Promoter Jeff Beacher the genius behind what was about to land him the rockin roll hall of fame punches award at Beacher’s Mad House on Sept 29 in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock with Kid Rock and Tommy Mutha Effin Lee. Tommy knew he had it on lock for the million green purse and Kid Rock did the chicken walk.

"I can't resist feasting on fried chicken at my favourite Denny's. At least they've switched to a trans fat free oil so it's a 'healthier' choice," says Leanora Victor of Las Vegas, USA.

Kentucky Fried Chicken in a PR inspired marketing effort, decided that it was time to lay down a "first" that no other company can claim. KFC fashioned a company logo on the desert floor outside of Las Vegas, Nevada. A full color logo (made with tiles) that is large enough to be seen from space.

The Chicken Ranch is a legal, licensed brothel located about 60 miles west of Las Vegas near the town of Pahrump, in Nye County, at 10511 Homestead Road. The 17 bed brothel sits on 40 acres (16 ha) of land. A separate building, connected to the main house by a breezeway, contains three extensively decorated, themed "bungalows" catering to those customers wishing a more luxurious experience.The ranch has a collection of memorabilia from the original Chicken Ranch which was located near LaGrange, Texas.The Chicken Ranch once had a reputation for being pricey; prices start at $100 (the unofficial house minimum), but the average amount for one hour of intercourse and oral sex is about $400. Like most legal brothels in the state, the house receives 50% of that money. Since the purchase of neighboring competitor Sheri's Ranch by its current ownership group, and their subsequent lavish remodeling and expansion of that operation, the "pricey" label has generally been applied by most to that brothel rather than to the Chicken Ranch.The ranch also houses the Leghorn Bar. The bar has a separate entrance for customers not wishing to enter the brothel parlor.
